| The Road Less Travelled is Steel Rail’s
second album. It features 14 original “folkgrass” songs by band members Tod
Gorr, Ellen Shizgal and Dave
Clarke. The Road Less Travelled was recorded in spring and summer 1999 at the band’s home studio as well as at Le Studio in Morin Heights, Que.,
and early reviews have been very positive. The album was one of the
finalists in the country-roots category of the 2000 Crossroads Awards, handed
out by the respected acoustic-music magazine in the U.S. |

Availability: The Road Less Travelled was released nationally in Canada on March 28, 2000. It's distributed in Canada
by Festival Distribution and should be in record stores in major Canadian
